Varshiga Kandeepan is an undergraduate Computer Science student at Toronto Metropolitan University and a Research Assistant at the Human-Centered Machine Intelligence (HCMI) Lab. She is contributing to the research and development of a public-facing Human-Centred AI Observatory designed to systematically audit generative search engines for information exposure, demographic representation, source diversity, consistency, and fairness.
