Dr. Morteza Zihayat is an Assistant Professor in the School of Information Technology Management at Toronto Metropolitan University and the Director of the Human-Centered Machine Intelligence Lab. His research focuses on data mining, information retrieval, machine learning, and social network analysis, with particular emphasis on high utility pattern mining and bias mitigation in AI systems.

Dr. Zihayat has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers in top-tier venues and has received several awards for his research contributions. He is passionate about developing ethical and fair AI systems that benefit society.
